Pig feeding is the most dynamically developing business of Agrofeed Ltd. Our pig premixes and piglet prestarter feeds are equally popular both in Hungary and the export markets. The number of sows fed exceeds 200000, the total number of slaughter pigs is over 3.5 million. The basis of their performance and our success is the reliable quality of the products and the wide-range of services we provide for our customers.

The most important element of our pig programme is the hand tailored feed adjusted to the local farm requirements. With the continuous improvement of our products according to our domestic and international customer's, we ensure that our partners will receive the most advanced and most effective products.

The Introduction of the Dairy Business

Since its establishment, the dairy feeding business of Agrofeed Ltd. represents a continuously growing proportion of the Hungarian dairy feed business that is based on solid professional grounds.

The aim of Agrofeed Ltd.’s dairy feeding programme is the balanced nutrient supply of high milk producing dairy cattle and their progeny. In our feeding programme, we also make possible for the customers to develop unique recipes; our purpose is to take into consideration the quantity of raw materials available on the sites and their nutritional parameters, thus ensuring the maximum income.  

During the feeding of dairy cows, we pay outstanding attention to the nutrient supply of dry cows and milking cows at the first stage of lactation. During these periods, we ensure the reduction of negative energy deficit and the supply of nutrients appropriate for milk production with the application of special premixes, concentrates and raw materials.

The feeding programme especially designed for young animals takes into account the growing and development stages of calves and young heifers, and we develop products whose composition and nutrient supply adjusts to the digestive specifications of young animals. This feeding programme ensures fast-growth, development, and early breeding start.
